This ranking was commissioned by Newsweek Poland for the Association for Healthcare Quality Promotion in Poland. Not only numbers and types of surgeries performed, but also service quality and hospitalization standards were taken into consideration.

As in the American rankings, cross-assessment of clinics by competitive plastic surgery centres was taken into account. This greatly enhances the ranking value and shows that the Centre is well received not only by patients, but also in plastic surgery circles.

The ceremony to deliver the diplomas was held on 18 May 2006 in the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, during the 10th National Conference “Quality in Healthcare”.
