GYNECOMASTIA

Ms. Ostrowska-Clark has performed hundreds of Gynecomastia operations in the past 11 years, and this clinic has now a great deal of experience in dealing with Gynecomastia patients from the U.K. and European patients - mainly from body-builders.

Gynecomastia is a procedure that can be done in one of two ways: by excision, or by excision and liposuction. Ultrasound is always done before the operation to determine the size and type of Gynecomastia that we are dealing with, and histopathology afterwards tests the tissue to make sure it is clear of malignancy. Ms. Ostrowska-Clark uses her experience in aesthetic and general surgery to make sure that all the gland tissue is removed, and that scarring is minimal.

The ultrasound and blood tests are arranged for the morning of the operation which takes place in the afternoon. You will stay one night at the clinic and stitches are removed on the 8th day after the operation (usually by your home G.P.).
